In order to ensure a delightful experience for our guests while protecting the integrity of our service providers and staff, we ask that the following policies and rules of etiquette be observed at Essentiels:

HOURS

Essentiels is open seven days per week for your convenience. Our hours of operation are:

Mon-Fri: 8am – 8pm
Sat: 8am – 6pm
Sun: 10am – 6pm

Essentiels is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

CONSULTATIONS

General consultations on our services or products are available over the phone or in the spa, at no charge.

APPOINTMENTS

We recommend that you book your next appointment prior to leaving the spa, so that we can be sure to accommodate your wishes. If you have any special needs or concerns, please let us know. As a courtesy to you, we will confirm your appointment a day in advance. For packages and spa services, we encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. Should you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment may be modified to maximize the remaining time without compromising the next appointment.

CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS

A credit card or gift card guarantee is required for all packages and spa services. To ensure we provide the best service possible, cancellations must be received a minimum of 24-hours prior to your appointment. If we do not receive a 24-hour notice of cancellation, your card on file will be charge 50% of the cost of the service(s) scheduled. Other fees may apply for salon service cancelations.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt and are only valid within 30 days of purchase or receiving the item(s). Returns are accepted for store credit only. No cash refunds. Damaged, used, sale or discontinued items may not be returned. Additionally, when items are purchased as a set, we can only accept returns of complete sets, not individual items. Clothing and lingerie, sale items, and ‘as is’ items, are also non-returnable.

If an online order return is the result of our mistake, Essentiels will send you a pre-paid call tag to ship the item(s) back to us, otherwise, the cost of return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. For good measure, we always recommend you secure a tracking method for shipping a return. Once we receive the returned item, you will receive a return confirmation via email. Please allow 5-7 business days for your Essentiels gift card with your credit balance to arrive.

GIFT CARDS AND INSTANT GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift cards are available in any amount and for any service. They are perfect for all occasions and are elegantly wrapped as a complimentary service to you. Gift cards and instant gift certificates can be purchased in the spa, over the phone or online. Gift cards and instant gift certificates never expire. They are redeemable for merchandise or services at Essentiels Spa et Beauté. Gift cards and certificates have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Essentiels Spa et Beauté is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or certificates.

PRICING

Essentiels reserves the rights to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on any service without prior notification to ensure maximum quality standards are upheld.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Please notify our reservations specialist before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your service provider immediately.

SPECIAL EVENTS / PRIVATE PARTIES

Essentiels does host special events and private parties with ample notice. You may book your spa parties or special events with our reservations specialist who can also assist your group with special needs such as catering, flowers, or other special requests that you may have.

ATTIRE

For multiple spa treatments spa robes and sandals are generally provided. During treatment, your body will be draped at all times, except for the area being treated. Lockers are available for storage of your personal items.

VALUABLES & PERSONAL ITEMS

We recommend that you leave your more valuable items at home. Although lockers are provided for our spa guests, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. We ask that you please keep track of your personal belongings during you visit.

CHILDREN

Children are welcome in the salon by appointment only. Out of courtesy to all our guests, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the spa. All couples interested in a Couple’s Room Massage Treatment must be 18 years or older regardless of parental consent.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL

Essentiels reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct. Inappropriate conduct or language during a service will result in immediate termination of the service. We reserve the right to define inappropriate conduct or language.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

In order to maintain a tranquil environment, we request that you turn off your cell phone and/or pager when visiting our spa. Additionally, we ask you to limit your cellular use in the salon or retail boutique out of respect for other guests and patrons.

ALCOHOL

Please note that it is advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol or a large meal prior to any spa treatment.

SMOKING

Essentiels is a non-smoking facility.

RETURNED CHECKS

We graciously accept checks for payment with an in-state address and valid California State ID; however, a $25 fee will be assessed for any returned checks. Unfortunately out of state checks are no longer accepted.

ONLINE PAYMENT METHODS

Essentiels currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for online orders. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to take Essentiels gift cards and certificates for online orders; however, we do accept Essentiels gift cards and certificates as payment for orders placed over the phone. To place an order by phone, please call or text us at 661.654.0321.

MODIFYING OR EDITING ONLINE ORDERS

Since order processing begins immediately with the placement of the order, we are unable to cancel or make changes to your order once it has been received. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please contact Essentiels’ Guest Services at 661.654.0321 or orders@edayspas.com.

GIFT WRAPPING

Complimentary item gift-wrapping for your online purchase is available upon request. Please indicate your wrapping request by simply writing “PLEASE GIFT WRAP” in the Special Instructions section of your online order. Gift cards automatically come elegantly wrapped. If you wish to include a message with your gift, please write it in the Message section of your online order.

BACKORDERS

If your order contains both in-stock and backordered items, the in-stock items will ship, and the backordered item(s) will ship as they become available and you will only be charged shipping and handling fees on the first shipment.

SALES TAX

We are required to collect sales tax for deliveries to California. Application of sales tax may be subject to change.

SHIPPING POLICIES

Essentiels’ standard order fulfillment and delivery time for in-stock items is 5 to 7 days. Please refer to the chart below to estimate the standard shipping and handling charge for orders in the continental United States:

Two-day and overnight shipping is also available on web orders placed before 12 noon, PST, Monday through Friday.

Overnight orders placed on the weekend will be shipped after entry on Monday.

The following additional charges to standard shipping and handling prices apply:

  • For Two-Day Shipping, add $10
  • For Overnight Shipping, add $15
  • For Saturday Delivery, add $25

Also, for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, please add $15 to standard shipping and handling charges. Unfortunately, Essentiels cannot guarantee timely shipping to these locations.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS AND P.O. BOXES

Regretfully, Essentiels cannot ship orders internationally or to P.O. boxes. Orders sent to APO/FPO will be shipped via certified US Postal Service Mail.

RESTRICTED ITEMS

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) restricts certain items from being shipped by air if they could contribute to an onboard fire or other mishap. These items include aerosols and alcohol-based products such as pressurized spray cans, fragrances, and nail enamels. Thus, in compliance with DOT rules, orders containing one of these items, can only be shipped via ground services and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands or APO/FPO addresses.
